Oops, My Bad

words and music by Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno, featuring G-Clef   Ghetto Swing Extreme

Oops my bad.. I didn't mean to hit it Oops my bad.. I hit it then I split it Oops my bad.. I didn't mean to do it... Just hooked up the train and just ran right thru it.. Oops my bad.. I was crazy drunk... Oops my bad.. and tore up off some skunk... Oops my bad.. I wasn't really with it.. She jumped on me and got me all up in it.. I didn't realize that that was your girl But when I saw that big butt and thighs.. I had to give it a twirl... Oops my bad.. I'm really very sorry... Oops my bad.. it wont happen again... Oops my bad.. can you ever forgive me? Just thought I also tell ya that I really got busy!

Another dance favorite, as well as one of our most requested songs.  Here we present an example of what we stylistically call "ghetto swing"... A traditional swing format laced with humorous urban colloquialisms of the late 1990's. The hook will "get in ya".

'Oops, My Bad' is a catch phrase that has been present throughout the late nineties among pop culture meaning: "Sorry, my mistake!"  The saying "my bad" comes originally from the American Ghettos of the late 1980's, but later, along with many other such colloquialisms, has seeped into the mainstream.  This song is about a mistake that is commonly made when one consumes a bit too much alcohol or smoke: in this case, engaging in an unintentional sexual romp with your best friend's girlfriend.
