THE REASON FOR MY PAIN NewYalloppin City

words and music by Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno, as performed by the Yalloppin Hounds, featuring Vickie Natale

You must know by now my love for you was real, So now how does it feel when it's Too Little, too late. We all must own our choices right or wrong...You may now regret ; sending me away And I may yet, live to see the day That you'll --- say ; Love, I did you wrong , Please pardon my confusion, My self absorbed delusion , but no, I see you now as nothing but the reason for my pain.

Here is the final chapter of those "failed relationship blues"., the second sequel to the saga from "Ghetto Swing Extreme"... This is the part where you know it's over, and you even go as far as letting the person know they are too late if they ever come back. Sad, yet liberating, the offender is reduced to the rank of merely the source of your erstwhile pain. This is an experimental example of a Ghetto Swing ballad. Heavy bass and hip-hop beats outline this dirgelike requiem, enabling dancers to "hip-hop lindy" to a ballad, if they double up with the drums. Vickie shows why she is the rightful heiress to the YH spotlight. Her soulful rendition will give you chills.
