We

words and music by Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno, featuring Queen Esther    Ghetto Swing Extreme

You, Me, are just meant to be boy and We two should not try to fight destiny... Three long years ago since we're apart Start now to feel like and eternity... We are better together, but you knew you needed time to be alone, Grown is what I hope you'll be tomorrow... Shadows of the past turn into- Rays of light that shine down on me Show who I ought to be When you really come to me Only through His blessings we have this chance to build a life free me from all stress and strife Solitude cutz like a knife Maybe I could be your wife... When I think of We.... Can't you see me your one cosmic soul mate sweet-ly enhancing your reality . Be the one who hears me from afar, Our dedication to infinity.....We....

Another favorite of the Lindy crowd, a decidedly upbeat 'prayer' to the fates to bring back true love when the time is right.  Queen Esther rips powerfully through my favorite Hounds' song. Tenor saxist Herman X is makes his presence quite known.

'We' was written from the perspective of a  love affair that went wrong due to growing pains.  'Right person, wrong time'  is the most appropriate adage to describe this one.  The result is an all out appeal for destiny to indeed prevail and bring back true love when both parties are ready to truly enjoy it.
