Where Have You Been?      Ghetto Swing Extreme

words and music by Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno, featuring Queen Esther

I remembered you...through the years and its finally coming true... It appears you've come back into my life.. Love Where Have You Been? I've been Trying to move on, but your memory lingered like a song... that grew stronger as time went along... Love, Where Have You Been? True I've been with a few, but all I did was compare them to you, And with each new embrace, behind another's' eyes I still saw your face...I've been Missing what we had, but now you're back and Boy am i glad.. You're here to stay and I'll never be sad, or lonely again, dear... Through the time we lost we shall never have again, Let's not waste a moment more, Let's stay together 'till the end... Yet and still, I've gotta know.... love, Where Have You Been?   coda*- I missed you so, why did you have to go? Where have you been?

Another gorgeous ballad featuring Queen Esther, featuring a smooth-as-silk Alto Sax solo by G-Clef.  This song is about lost love that finally came back after a long time.

This one was originally written for my octet, featuring Peter Bernstein on guitar, and was called "Timeless Lady" for Billie Holiday.  Years later, when the lyrics were written, it became a sort of answer to the song 'We', as that long awaited prayer had now been answered, and long lost love had indeed returned. But the question is still asked....
